The grooved side keeps my onion pieces from sliding all over the counter, which is a total game-changer for someone clumsy like me. It's hefty enough to feel solid but not so heavy that I dread pulling it out, and the FSC-certified wood gives it a nice, warm look on my island.

The wood grain on the smooth side is gorgeous enough that I leave it out on the counter between meals. It's heavy and stable while chopping, and the grooved side keeps things tidy when I'm slicing something juicy.

The grooved side catches every stray juice and crumb, so clean-up is a breeze, and the board's heft keeps it planted on the counter. I've left it out on the island since it arrived—it's honestly the nicest piece of wood in my kitchen.
